how much does it cost having paint stripped off a guitar???

hmmm depende. guitar hospital kung malaki ang budget. if the budget aint that big try roadtone. kung low budget ka talaga, punta ka kay mang fredo sa litex.

sir... may idea kau kung magkano mag parepaint ng guitar sa guitar hospital.. lets say a strat body to be repainted with metallic wine red or blue??? anybody  in  the forum have an idea how much?? Tnx po!!

OT question: about MIJ strats..i dont know what kind of paint its called...pero sa strat ko, yung paint hindi na pepeel..more on "cracking" then "Chipping-off" yung nangyayari....if ganito yung paint ng guitar ko? how do i get to achieve that SRV effect (yung parang nag-fade yung paint dahil sa sobrang use)

Isa pa, make sure solid wood yung guitar body.  Malas mo pag tinanggal mo pintura ng plywood body pala.

Ang simpleng paraan para dito ay bago pinturahan gasgasan mo ng kandila or lagyan ng petroluem jelly, tapos paint over. pag tuyo na yung paint scrape mo dun sa nilagyan mo, TADA! SRV effect

tama si greasykid... i happened to use a paint remover sa squier strat ko dati. nagtaka ako dahil hindi lang paint ang natanggal kundi pati ang body, me umangat. doon ko lang napansin na di pala solid wood ang strat. so ingat lang sa gagamitin.

ung sakin 2500 ung pa repaint kay arie. from black to vintage white, ganda ng trabaho kumbaga not expensive for the quality of work. it tool him a litle more than a month kasi he needs to strip off the paint and then ung drying process pa kapag na apply na ung new paint to dry. Mejo downside lang is ung laminate kasi sobrang kintab nya and since im in the process of "relicing" the guitar meaning "less alaga" para malaspag i stripped off the laminate.
