Noob Guitarist here with my own stuff (Epiphone SG, Orange Crush 20, Boss-ME80, Zoom ms-70cdr, ISP Decimator and MXR 10-band EQ).. Hmmmmm.... kulang pa nga ata ako ng patch cables. hahaha!
Ka-Jam lng muna mga sir. Ayoko magmadali mag-gig so I'm not looking to form a band immediately. Nakatambak lng sa utak ko yung mga riffs ko. Stuck na ako and gusto ko na i-improve bago ko pa makalimutan. (hehehehe, yung mga ideas ko mga 50% to 75% na siguro, so almost complete but not yet there. Nabuo ko karamihan ng kanta ko sa acoustic guitar. I hope I'm making sense though)
You can listen to bands like Jakob (saint, blind them with science, malachite), Mogwai (Take me somewhere nice, I'm Jim Morrison I'm Dead, Killing All The Flies), Earthmover (EP) ,Team Sleep (Natalie Portman, Your Skull is Red, Elizabeth), Rosetta (determinism of morality), Isis (Weight, Wills Dissolve, 20 minutes/40 years, Low Tide (split with Aereogramme)) to better get the idea of what I'm talking about.
Hopefully marunong din kayo mag Home Recording (hehehe) para marecord natin kung anu man mabuo naten then I guess after that, we can start adding the pieces (drummer, keyboard, etc)
Tuning: Standard C# and Drop B. (I'm about to change my strings)
So short of saying, slow and steady ang approach ko. (Write, Rehearse, Record then gig).
Available ako Saturday and Sunday hapon hanggang gabi..
I'm from Sampaloc, Manila. Can travel as far as QC. Or depende na lng din kung swabe or hassle ang byahe. (Commute lng po ako, wala po akong car. Pero hindi din ako maarte)
