Guys baka may mga tips and tricks kayo how to relic a guitar, gusto ko po sang gawing relic style ung telecaster ko salamat po!

You can start with these:

-Sand paper 120, 200, 400, 600, 1000, 2000 grit (removing sheen, finish, exposing wood)
-black and brown kiwi instant shoe polish or teabag (instant libag)
-belt buckle (buckle rash)
-floor wax (pink stain from case)
-soldering iron or cigarette (cig headstock burn)
-Blade or box cutter (checking)
-wood touchup pen (binding libag)
-dremel tool (same as first item)

Wala pa kong nakitang nagrelic ng gitara dito na mukhang natural. Si Nick Gotinga lang ang pinakaOK magrelic na nakita ko. So if I were you, don't even think about it. Di mo na yan maibabalik sa dati.

lagyan mo ng brown shoe polish na liquid tapos alisin mo, tapos lagay ulit hanggang sa mag mukhang shoes. hehehe joke lang yun :D actually di ko alam.. ang alam ko lang pinapahiran nila paulit ulit ng naphtha

gamitin mo nalang , tama sila, wala pa akong nakitang natural looking "relic" guitar dito sa PM.

dati meron dito sa PM , gibson lp ata na ni relic, sayang hheehhee

Correction lang paps ah. Hindi yung paglagay ni John Mayer sa fridge yung reason kung bakit naging ganun yung TBO Stratocaster niya ha hehe

Joke lang un dre. Oo naman alam ko ung story na yon. Hahaha  joke din kasi ang pagrerelic ng gitara. Di sya naaachieve basta bsta ng hnd by natural reasons.

I'm waiting for Nick Gotinga to finally have access again to Nitrocellulose laquer so we can see more of his amazing works of art. Till then, we'll see a lot of liha relics roaming around.

Not relic'ing per se, but ageing new parts to match an old guitar. Still a work in progress for the headstock binding. Already found nitro laquer at diy store.










Accidentally discovered how to age a holly veneer using flat iron while trying to remove it.

Yep. Sobrang galing ng attention to detail ni paps Nick pag dating sa relicing. Need talaga yung nitro finish para natural yung pagkarelic haha masyadong makapal polyurethane eh
