Hi pareng jpdeleon,

Salamat sa comment. Anyway, medyo limot ko na yung interface ng 707II kaya bibigyan nalang kita ng tips na alam ko.

1. Keep your drive/gain moderate. Magiging muddy kasi ang tone ng mga notes pag masyadong mataas. Mawawala yung pagka-'pronounced' nya.

2. Add subtle compression. Konti lang, just to mimic the saturation of EJ's tube amp which is mostly 'dimed'. Too much will reduce your dynamics.

3. Cut your high/treble frequencies.

4. Lessen the the volume knob a bit (maybe mga  para mawala ng konti yun pick 'attack', which therefore helps in achieving the smooth violin tone. It also acts as a hi cut filter.

So yun. The rest will rely heavily on your fingers. Hope this helps.

nga pala, dagdag ko lang po sir, ang gamit nyang gitara dati is an ibanez grg270 or grg370, di ko sure kung anong model. he also nailed vai's tone with a zoom707II, naalala ko pa dati nung foundation day namin sa school, 3x nyang tinugtog yung For The Love Of God, tapos tinugtog din yung Manhattan. :)
