Do you guys classify Gilbert's tone as being twangy? Parang 'chimey' at 'squacky' sa pandinig ko eh. :?

More of glassy + squawk.  Twang belongs to Teles...

with PGM?

oh boy i wish i knew.   :-(  I am not that really good to answer that.
Telecaster do sound twangy.  But with PGM and his guitar.
Maybe its on his rig.  Just maybe.

one day in a recording studio--a meeting between the recording engineer and the drummer.

drummer: (thinking to himself ) This is so cool dude! My first recording... I better act like i know what I'm doing!

recording engineer: ok bro, so you're gonna lay down some tracks today.....let's setup your kit!

drummer: alright bro! hey i was wondering if you could record me in a way that it sounds like the drums on the beatles' albums. can you that bro? because I think that's what this album needs so it would sound classic!( i'm so cool!)

recording engineer: Sure thing bro! we could do that....do you have Ringo's number?
guitarist telling the drummer what the intro to laklak was. caught on video.at binilangan pa ang drummer 1-2...1-2-3..lol

try using your mid a nd bridge pups at the same time. 4th position yan if you're using 5 way switch. explore mo lang thru pg's intro sa just take my heart. thou, it still depends on your stuffs. or try to read the 1st paragraph.

use any of PG's dimarzio PU. kahit bridge at mid lang... put it in the midPU and BridgePU combination position... tapos ilagay mo sa 5-7th positon volume knob mo. gamit ka rin ng TS9DX!!!  :-D

cheap way to get it is to use a good OD pedal and flat picking. Kinda attack the strings really hard to make em twang and roll of the bass a bit.
