I personally think you can make any drum sound nice when mic'ed. It would really be difficult to judge a drum's sound by just watching an ad with mic and all prepped up. I think it is best to chose and judge a good sounding drum by listening to it live, un-mic'ed, unadulterated and in its purity, albeit Tama is an excellent drum brand.

Buhayin ko lang. Had they (tama) retained this prototype finish tingin ko 110% mas magiging mabenta to. Kaso nangbitin pa talaga, di na nga tinuloy di pa ginawang die-cast.  :lol:
