madami dyan sa forum bro, get a decent fernando set or pearl target set, even a regal set would do as long as nandun lahat ng main components., buy decent skins and cymbals (swerte nga ung iba dyan meron na kasama) then add necessary skills and rudiments and your all good  8-)

you can buy a cheap kit then upgrade the cymbals and snare. Nice sounding snare can help motivate practice

suggest ko lang basta makakapal ang hardwares, oks na oks na un! i myself generic kit lang, pero ang pinili ko ung may medium-heavy na mga hardwares. just my thought lang naman. pero if you can afford to buy pearl target, pwedeng pwede na un! goodluck sa kit hunting bro!

bili ka ng fernando or kahit pearl target. (may nakita ko sa classifieds, 9k na target, si sir ikoy ang nagbebenta) kung wala yun hardware, may chance ka pa bumili ng makapal na hardware, gibraltar or mapex will do.
watch your problem? ;p

kung mag gibraltar hardwares ka, go for the 6600 series! you won't go wrong with it! Hehe. kung mejo low budget, try 5600 series. basta gibraltar, "ROCK SOLID" haha.ü

ako naka generic lang din, kuntento na ko sa tunog, pinalitan ko lang ng heads dati at bumili ng matinong entry-level wood snare. nasa pagtotono lang yan. good tuning and branded heads can make a generic kit sound decent and even relatively good. ginawa ko nag-invest nalang ako sa hardware like stands, pedal, throne, and also cymbals. and now i'm saving up for a professional-quality snare (ahead). pang home use lang din naman yung kit ko, kaya hindi importante sakin yung magkaron ng magandang kit sa ngayon.

at imo, hindi rin naman ganun kaganda ang pearl target. there's a reason why the target isn't even listed on the pearl website.

maganda rin yung advice ni popsicle. i also swear by gibraltar's hardware. maganda yung 6600 series. kung gusto mo makamura, ok na yung 5600. wala lang memory locks yun. oks din mapex hardware, lalo na yung throne.

ayun opinion lang naman. :)
