NEED HELP RE: PC recording and bkt po grounded ung gtara ko?!

mga sir patulong naman po:

una. bkt po grounded ung gtara ko evertime na nag-rerecord me sa p.c? (guitar to efx to CPU input). (may knalaman kaya ung location ng mga inputs sa cpu kc nasa likuran sya which is isually found dpat sa harapan ng cpu?)

pangalawa: bt parang hndi po natural ung lumalabas na tunog ng gtara ko evertyime na nag-rerecord me direct  sa pc using sonar-6? pag clean efx ang gmt ko eh maaus naman po.. pero pag gumamit na me ng distortion eh sobrang panget ang labas.. parang compress na compress ung tunog na manipis.. (i think it has nothng to do with my efx kc pag sinaksak ko sa amp eh maaus naman ung tunog). or bka sa settings lang ng sonar? help naman po dyan..

Kung CRT ang monitor mo, off mo un habang nagrerecord ka. napipickup ung pups mo ung flyback ng crt.

C R T means cathode ray tube.. yan yung screen o monitor..

coming back on topic, it might be your soundcard? feel free to correct me on this, but if youre gonna record a guitar its best that you have preamp(or a mixer that does) before you plug it in directly to the line in.

Assuming his efx has line level outputs, there is no need for a preamp. Some things that can cause a buzz during recording are ground loops, bad cables, and electromagnetic induction due to proximity to transformers and other coils (like a crt's flyback transformer. Remember that single coil pickups are notorious for picking up hum, even from the ballasts of flourescent lights.
