How can i go from SSH to SSS??

Yup, you nailed pretty much what needs to be done. Unless you want to just split the hb which will give you single-coil-ish sound, but not exactly the same as a true single coil.

Yup, you nailed pretty much what needs to be done.

Unless it also has a locking trem and you want the guitar to look (and sound) like a real classic strat. A cream MIJ strat should make for a good looking and great sounding classic strat. Go for it, man.

I never did understand why Fender, or anyone for that matter, would want to have humbuckers on a strat (can you say h-e-r-e-s-y?). You want humbuckers, there are better guitars for that rather than the strat.

ang plan ko kasi is paparepaint ang strat ko. i want it all white. pickups covers knobs at papalitan ko din ang bridge kasi kahler bridge ang gamet ko. balak ko mag vintage...hahahahahah aus ba? ano magandang bridge ilagay?

What is there to understand? Not everyone who like humbuckers like body shapes other than the strat. Myself for example, I like hb p-ups but I don't like the Les Paul body shape, I prefer the strat shape. So, it almost seems an intuitive move for Fender, and others manufacturers for that matter, to offer hb p-up loaded strat shaped guitars to compete in that part of the market. I would not say that there are "better" guitars for humbucker p-ups, that would just be either traditionalistic or narrow minded.

I love my Fender HSS Strat. I love the sound of the humbucker on the bridge position. I prefer warm sound on the bridge. I love the shape and the looks of the strat. I'm comfortable playing on a strat with humbucker. So what can an LP or better guitars for humbucker do for me if the comfortability and sound i prefer is on an HSS Strat? Got my point?
