Video Card problem...Help!!!

sino po may alam na nag re-repair ng video card? Gumagana pa naman pero gulo gulo na yung graphics from boot up to desktop...sayang kasi eh, baka may remedyo pa...FX5700LE-8X 256MB (128 Bit)

Try reseating the card. Clean the 'golden fingers' with acetone or denatured alcohol, use a pencil eraser in a pinch. Also check the monitor cable.

Sige sir try ko, pero ang alam ko eraser okay na eh, nagawa ko na yung eraser to clean it...cable is good naman, i'm using a backup (32mb) video card for now...okay naman yung mga capacitors etc...nothing blown up, as in nag discharge muna ako ng static sa fingers para sure na hindi ma damage lalo yung video card...

I once had a prob with an old mobo which got installed with the foam that comes in the manufacturer's box. Over time, the foam would have some form of carbon buildup making it conductive. The mobo was an Asus A7N266-VM. I removed the foam and the mobo is ok now... still being used actually. Be sure to check your mems too.

Memory is okay naman, I would try to make a general cleaning nalang siguro...tried on-board video card and a separate agp video card (32mb), works fine naman. So defenitely the video card...sana madaan ko pa sa thorough cleaning...sayang kasi eh... Salamat sir...God bless...

In what way na ma-static? I always discharge static sa fingers ko everytime I'll hold PC hardware peripherals, sometimes I wear gloves pa...huhuhu

How about the underside ng mobo pcb? sometimes dust is highly conductive. kung going bad na talaga ang vidcard, you can always wash it. just make sure to dry the card thoroughly before reinstalling, and remove the fan and heatsink before washing. washing sometimes removes minute shorts between traces on the pcb.

ano ba ulit yung parang spray for the PCB na pwede gamitin to take out the remaining dust, baka nga meron na corotion in very tiny detail...

Well, video cards don't get repaired. They get replaced. Gamitin mo na lang siguro hanggang sa masira na talaga. Tutal sabi mo naman mula boot-up hanggang Windows startup lang ang problema e. If that buys you enough time to do a bigger upgrade, all the better.

the card is probably past it's normal lifespan, if it's past its warranty...it's time for an upgrade

Ya, I already buried my video card...less than 2k yung 256mb (128bit) FX5500 na brandnew, sayang lang kasi, gamit ko yun for 3 years na...

Sir, dapat linisin niyo na yan, kasi baka ma damage yung mga components ng motherboard mo, kasi pag tumagal ang dust sa motherboard mo, that would lead to corrosion of some components, gamit ka lang ng 1inch size ng paintbrush...okay na yun pang linis. Pati narin yung heatsink and fan ng processor, para maging okay ulit yung performance ng pc mo. Hope it helps...God bless.

good to hear napalitan mo na... ideally dapat tlgang nililinis ang luob ng cpu pero sa katamarang paraan hahaha di na natin nagagawa
