Eto mga infos about Philippine woods.

My friend who's an importer of woods told me that Philippine Woods are great but the Pinoys doesn't have the knowledge of Treating them.

Eto difference ng America sa Pinas in terms of wood treatment.

America gets clearance/license to cut the trees, dry them to specs, cut as a lumber.

Pinoy putols the tree and immediately cuts to lumber then benta agad kasi alang clearance. So what happens is nag shi-shrink yung lumber kasi di pa sha tuyo.

I believe Sandy is right. It takes a while for the wood to completely dry. Not unless you kiln dry it. Still, even if you dry it, you may need some chemicals in the process, I  am not sure though. I believe you will have to spend a lot of money for that matter, especially if you looking for a one piece, not a ply shell.

I heard that Peeves was able to make a shell before. That is out of multiple plies, if I am not mistaken.
