I just came from checking out Lazer and Audiophile sa Festi-mall. Both stores sell Bass Drum spurs. However, a new problem arises. Neither of the spurs sold from these stores match the placement of holes as found in my current spurs. I would have to drill in new holes in my bass drum if i were to buy either of them. Nyets...HELP!!!

That would be easy because Pearl spare parts are more abundant and easier to find here, compared to other brands of drums.

Yupangco Music distributes Pearl products.  Visit the Yupangco Showroom, or Perfect Pitch stores.  I've seen some bass drum spurs on some of their shops.

I would go with Kimboy's suggestion..you can have that solved by dropping by your local machine shop..ask them what they can do about it..

either have it re-threaded by a bigger bolt or have it permanently secured..at least you'll be still able to use it and save up some dough..

I used the lazer bass drum spurs as replacements when the really old ones broke down on my old yamaha... as you said.. they don't fit... I drilled holes on my bass drum, placing the new spur to a location that would cover the old holes... didn't seem to make any drastic changes in the sound...

have them install a bushing in the hole with the busted thread. that way you can use the old wing bolt without any problems.
