Hi folks, I thought it would be interesting to have an ugly guitar contest. Ugly is good but the one rule is that it has to kick ass sound wise. I had a strat that was natural called blondee. I started drinking some beers one day and got out a paint set like you use to pain a picture and just started dabbing away. Then I sanded it down and clear coated it. The result is my Fender Uglycaster. Here are some pics.

Now this guitar is hot. I gotta tell ya. First of all, it has two mighty mite mother buckers in it. I don't know how many of you have heard the mother buckers or not, but if you haven't send me your email address at
ussfdocnpi@yahoo.com and I'll send you a demo. They were designed to sound exactly like the Seymor Duncan Pearly gates and they sound just as good if not better. Also, I'm running 11 to 60 guage strings on it. This is one ugly but awesome sounding guitar.
If other folks have ugly guitars that have kick ass tone, I'd like to see them posted here. I will send clearer pics when I get my digital back today.
