midi on Sonar and creative sound card
« on: October 30, 2007, 11:42:43 AM »

Built in na yung sound card.

What midi? The MS GS Synth? Remember that it does not show itself when using WDM with Sonar; you have to use asio for the GS synth to appear.

I've used Cakewalk products since the Pro Audio days and their midi implementation is one of the most straightforward of all DAWs I've tried. Logic sana... but then they killed the pc versions.

Soundblasters and Cakewalk usually go well together (just don't go saying that in the Cakewalk forums). Soundblasters especially give you access to 2 soundfont synths that can be loads better than the MS synth if you load really good soundfonts. I used to use the Chaos Bank, Fluid Release and Mega Bank soundfonts from hammersound.com.
