dito sa akin, when we mic the drums, we send the kick to SUB.. para maganda ang pakiramdam. setup ko kasi during practice is as simple as MIXER + EQ + AMP only. speakers ko: SUB sa LEFT, MID-HIGH sa RIGHT. So i pan the kick and Bass Guitar sa LEFT, other instruments and vocals sa RIGHT...so you get an idea how the EQ is set? LOWS on left, MID-HIGHs on right.

make sure huwag mo babahain ng BASS yung room para di malunod ang mid-highs. make the sound clear and balance..

crossover will do the job.. may low frequency output sa crossover.. so pag dating ng signal sa amp ay puro low frequency lang of course dapat nakakabit ay subwoofer.. kundi sabog ang speaker..

You must have separate amp for the sub if ever... kung wala, make it this way:

mixer LEFT>>eq LEFT>>LEFT CH of AMP;
mixer RIGHT>>crossover>>RIGHT CH of AMP;

pero kung sagana ka naman sa amp,

mixer ST OUT>>EQ>>AMP
mixer AUX send(pre fader)>>Crossover>>AMP
...so you have independent control for the sub...

correct. Sa Xover mahahati ang signal to produce the LF. Correct also. Mixer's ST OUT is for MF-HF... cut the LFs on the EQ. If you have speakers for MF-HF which can give you a little LF also, pwede din as FULL RANGE.
