The FRACTAL AUDIO AXE-FX

Many say you can put some tubes on top of it and fool anyone into thinking it sounds AND FEELS like a tube preamp/miced up cabinet with a real tube poweramp. 

Best for the studio!

i tried this unit...it is great but, man, editing is a pain. works great though for midi based setups.

in NYC. its a nice piece of kit for sure but the editing wasn't something that I could do easily without really digging into the manual...the buttons and group editing sections are a nice touch tho. the layout reminds me of the Sony DPS-V55 which is an under-rated effects rack unit.
