« on: February 24, 2008, 07:26:26 PM »
hi there sirs,

enclosure or baffle for my subs 15."
i can see enclosures sa raon but i don't know
how they do it and what type of materials they used
lalo na if they used wood glue in every corners.
baka kasi gawang aparador lang. :-)

atleast kung magpapagawa ako, mababantayan ko karpentero and i'll be the
one to buy the materials to be used.

Sirs, i need designs for the enclosure. where can i find the designs with measurements.  w-box ba? i dont know what to call those designs.
i can see 1 design cerwin vega's enclosure like this:
pero i still want to see other designs.

sana may makatulong.  This is not piracy i think. :?

Hi there!

The CV sub uses 18" driver. You still have to determine what kind of 15" drivers you have on hand. Baka kasi suitable lang yan sa Reflex enclosures. If you are referring to the CV model below, it is a horn loaded cab.... horn loaded cabs usually work well in stacks.

Anong application mo ba gagamitin? Bear in mind that subs takes care of the frequency below 60hz.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers!

try mo to bro

http://www.diysubwoofers.org/

take note of the computations, importante yun sa pag design ng enclosure lalo pag ported box ang gagawin mo.

pag gusto mo safe, ayaw mong magkamali, gawin mo na lang sealed box, compute mo lang minimum required volume ng sub mo.

recommended wood for sub enclosures:

3/4" mdf
1" particle board

ano nga palang sub gagamitin mo bro?

goodluck on your project
