Need help with my router

Hi guys. Can anyone help me with my new Linksys Wireless-G broadband router? Nagagamit ko na siya, but I can use it ONLY when it doesn't have a password. Otherwise, "the settings on this computer do not match the settings on the router" ang sinasabi - something like that.

Ayoko namang free for all dito sa condo ang DSL connection ko. :|

I'm using Vista, if that helps.

i-enable mo yung wep key bro, pwede mo naman i-access yung router via web browser, tapos check mo din settings ng network card mo, ilalagay mo yung wep key dun.

for step by step config, hintayin natin yung mga taga-link2support dito.

not sure about linksys eh, pero kung ang security type mo may choices like wep, wpa, wpa2, wpa2 mixed, choose wep.

So given that I use WPA for security type.. is it okay na WEP ang gamitin ko for encription type?

Pwede mo din subukan yung MAC address filtering.  Ang gawin mo i-allow mo lang yung MAC address ng PC/Laptop/Mobile mo lang ang mabigyan ng access ng router.
Nawawala ba ako?

^ ang pinaka ayos ay yung mac address filtering tapos hide mo yung access point mo... wala nang password password kung wala sa list ang mac address hindi siya makaka connect... pero kung paranoid ka gamit ka ng wep...

best is go to Linksys website. they have a chat section sa product support. somebody will walk you through the process. they can even do it for you remotely.
