Phantom power is usually routed through the XLR mic connections of the mixer. Unbalanced dynamics are often 1/4" TS (PL) type so they shouldn't be affected by phantom power. If your mixer doesn't offer phantom power, you can get an external phantom power supply like this:

Thanks for the reply Sir Mod.

Sir, Is it possible to damaged a non condenser mic like sm58, when it is being plugged to a mixer with a +48v phontom power? Isa lang po kc ang switch ng phantom power d2 sa isang mixer na gamit ko, hindi per channel, so think if I turn it on, all of the mic inputs will be supplied by +48V.?? Tama po ba yun? O kung sinong mic lang ang nangangailang, yun lang ang bibigyan nya ng supply? hehehe pwede ba yun?

Censya na po medyo baguhan po ako sa recording. I just want this clear in my mind para di ako makasira ng equipment. Thanks po.  :-D  :-)

You can turn on phantom power even when an SM58 is plugged in. They have been designed to 'ignore' phantom power, so to speak. what you should be careful of are unbalanced mics that use 1/4" to XLR adapters. The way phantom power is configured, it applies 48VDC on pins 2 and 3 in an XLR with pin 1 as the ground. The XLR adapters might apply that voltage to the tip and sleeve of the PL which can damage your mic, the mixer channel or your mixer's phantom power circuit.
