Phantom power is usually routed through the XLR mic connections of the mixer. Unbalanced dynamics are often 1/4" TS (PL) type so they shouldn't be affected by phantom power.
Thanks for the reply Sir Mod.
Sir, Is it possible to damaged a non condenser mic like sm58, when it is being plugged to a mixer with a +48v phontom power? Isa lang po kc ang switch ng phantom power d2 sa isang mixer na gamit ko, hindi per channel, so think if I turn it on, all of the mic inputs will be supplied by +48V.??
I just want this clear in my mind para di ako makasira ng equipment.
Tnx.
