Okay i'm fortunate enough to review this one. Dindin lend me for what i think is "The only Jimmy Sig" here. Sabi nya madami daw kasi shang inquirries about how this monster sound. Sige without further a do eto na!
HITS
*Elegant looks! Nver pako nakakita ng ganito kahit sa Net.
*Great projection and Volume that's great for Live settings
*Value (Cheap daw sabi ni Din compared sa ibang Snares)
*Snare wires are upgraded compared to some Pearl Sig Snares
MISSES
WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS SNARE?
BRASS ALL THE WAY!!!!
Okay i used it last Sunday sa Church namin w/c is a 800-seater place. Grabe Volume nito ibang classe! Pati yung "Crack" andun!!! Napaka dynamic ng snare kasi kahit medium tight eh andun yung body. I can say is based on what i have eh It's sound is in between Maple and Steel snare but a bit Drier. Drier maybe because it's a hammered shell. Then i compared it Head-to-head against Ludwig 1966 Supra and Pearl Chad Smith Sig. I cranked them and Chad's the Brightest to the max! Supra came next and then Jimmy! This snare have less Ring compared sa dalawa. It has more body and warmer which good for Din's sound!
My only fall back w/ this is sana naka Die cast sha and Gladstone throw off.
Heer are the pics! Hirap kunan ng may Flash! Pag chagaan nyo na lang to!
