i said that for the people who tell other people that the only reason they are doing it is for the money. i dont believe it's all for the money. to prove the "only-in-for-the-money" audience of this thread wrong, that (why would they rehearse... blah blah) thought popped and there you go
yeah I got all that. what i don't quite get is the thought process behind that thought "why would they rehearse if it was only for the money?"
eg. lets say i was this famous actor... i've been acting long enough that i've become kinda jaded na with the whole acting thing... i only do movies for the money (eg. both Robert de Niro and Al Pacino have been criticized for chasing checks and not caring about the art of filmmaking anymore)
so back to my point... let's say I am that type of actor nga, i am offered a ridiculous amount of money for a movie role (yey! right?) eventhough I know I am only doing the movie for money, I'd still have to rehearse and memorize my lines with my fellow actors right?
...and no, the argument na "well this is different kasi they know their songs na inside and out, they've been playing it for years" doesn't hold too much ground i think. They still need to practice.
so that's what I'm saying... the whole "why would they bother rehearsing if they were in it for the money" theory doesn't prove a whole lot of anything.
(insert the obligatory "IMHO" here)
