ok na mga sir. nakapag pa home service ako sa knya last week. pinagawa ko blacksar ht50 head ko... saglit lang ginawa. good thing na may nkapag pagawa narin sa knya ng same amp with the same problem kaya alam na nya agad kung ano gagawin & saglit lang. very humble for someone who's a legend in this community. napuntahan ko na rin sya sa kanila... at last. pinagawa ko wampler pinnacle ko & just the same... ok na ang pedals sulit pa sa kwentuhan with the man himself. mang raul is indeed "the man".

Two questions:

1)  magkano kaya magpa gawa ng Tube amp sa kanya from scratch? may wiring diagram kasi ako nung gusto kong tube amp eh.. kung may mabibilhan ako parts.. magkano kaya ang labor?


2) May Fender Champion 100 ako. gusto ko convert to Tube amp. lagyan cguro 4 6L6GC. magkano kaya pa convert ng SS to Tube Amp kay mang raul?

I think he does pero medyo matagal since mahaba ang pila ng amps. Call to sched na lang.

yup, gumagawa sya ng SS. Inayos nya yung scratchy pots ng SS na Marshall ko nun. Sandali lang din tinapos.

mga sir ask lang. kaya kaya ni mang raul gumawa ng dark terror copy? balak ko sanang bumili non. pero nung nakita ko toh. want to try his works on tube amp heads, hehehe

Mang raul just repaired my roland re 301 3 weeks ago. Ive been hopeless for a year kasi nga wala ng pamalit na parts sa unit. Good thing mang raul fixed it without replacing any defective part. Issue nalang daw, kelangan ko palitan pinch roller.

since luma na yung amp ko.

with 2 x 6L6gc

and

1 x 12aX7

plan ko padagdagan (rewiring)

for better reverbs etc.

upgrade to:        4 X     6L6gc
                             and
                           4 x 12aX7    pre amp tubes

possible? magkano kaya labor?

i am not a rich guy, plus level 1 position ako sa company. just starting. gusto ko sana malaman yung price ng labor sa ganitong klaseng upgrade ng rewiring?  sana magkaroon ako idea kung meron dyan na nagkaroon na ng service kay mang raul na rewiring. thanks a lot guys!

Solid state pre amp ko or phase inverter ko solid states. Magkano kaya pa convert sa kanya gawing tube yung phase inverter ko? Any rough ideas?

I had my 2 Tube amps checked and fixed by Mang Raul the just recently.

He has a lot of schematics of tube amps to check to make sure your amp is working properly. he even had a schematic drawn/copied for one of my amps.

Mabilis gumawa and pulido. First time I went to their place pinameryenda pa ako ng siopao at coke. lol.

Very knowlegable in all types and brands of amps. Sana he teaches to share the  knowledge, parang apprenticeship.

Easy to reach coming from Espana, basta text/call for scheduling, then make sure your side mirrors are tucked in baka masagi ka sa street nila, hehe.

I asked him about his custom amps and according to him a simple 1 watt amp will cost 5K while a JCM 800 clone wil be 14K all in parts and labor. That's a vast difference in price to the 115K JCM 800 in JB . Your amp is done in 3-4 weeks.

He's a tube amp expert. I just hope he teaches his craft to spread the knowledge.
