Of course, active pa rin si malkmus ngayon with his band, the jicks.
Sonic youth, kakarelease lang nila ng live recording with Merzbow.
Pixies, parang nawala ulit. May breeders pa na bago so mukhang tigil muna pixies ngayon.
Scott Pollard ng GBV, still super prolific sa solo career nya.
Dinosaur Jr., buhay pa, nagrelease yata sila last year or a couple of years ago, I can't really remember... Sebadoh, naggigig na rin ulit.
Since we're talking about some of my favorite ever bands, pasok na rin natin sa usapan yung MY BLOODY VALENTINE. Nag-reunite na sila this year!!!!!!!!!!! The world is alright now.
Shellac rin pala may bago... Big Black nagreunite for some live shows...
Sorry for rattling off. I love all these bands who came from the underbelly of punk rock in the 80s and early 90s. It's some of the music that's closest to my heart
