hehe. ang flat nga yata nung pagkakaayos ko. actually, i was aiming for a muted color look. ginawa ko na din yung madalas na ginagawa ng iba - adjusted brightness and color in RAW tapos sa photoshop ko na post process. nung nakuha ko yung gusto kong look, i did it again but this time, i recorded the actions tapos save para auto apply na sa iba. yung monochrome mano mano.

ngayon ko lang tinignan ulit, mukang mainit yung colors hehe.

ngayon nakahanap naman ako ng sangkatutak na picture styles para sa canon dpp. try ko din kalikutin. may mga lumang film styles like agfa and fujifilm mukang maganda eh.

i tried the alternatives - RawTheraphee, ACDSEE Ultimate 9 and Capture One

RawTheraphee - freeware. looks promising. but in just under 10 mins, magka-crash sya kahit iisang raw img pa lang kinakalikot ko.

ACDSEE and Capture One - its a whole new world out there! if youre used to editing in LR or PS, it may take a while before you get used to the new interface and terms that they used. plus yung curves section kakaiba yung feel pag kinakalikot ko. but if im a pro shooter and pag eendorsin ako ng LR alternative, id go for Capture One. yun lang, kulang sa support users - hirap humanap ng presets na pwedeng paglaruan.

mukang di ako kumportable ng posed shots. di ko nagustuhan yung mga shots ko ng poses ni misis. naghahanap ako ng fashion/glamour shoot workshop para madagdagan yung alam ko sa poses.

yung canon dpp at photoshop pa din if were talking software. i was trying methods na nababasa ko online pero dahil 1st gen lcd monitor gamit ko, ang dilim ng kinalabasan sa ibang displays. kahit sa phone ko ang dilim ng dating.

and canon must be cursing at me dahil pinaghirapan nilang ma-achieve yung close to accurate coloring tapos eto, iniiba ko lang

yung choice of colors mo hahaha sira kasi ako pagdating sa kulay eh. parang smorgasbord yung datingan pag ako kumuha.

-color saturation(timpla kung over o under saturated)
-temp(do i like it warm, cold or neutral?)

yung tatlong yan sa taas yung basic corrections na ginagawa ko. after nyan, i export to jpeg then edit in photoshop.

ngayon sa photoshop, i stare at the pics one at a time tapos bini-visualize ko kung ano ba yung overall look na gusto ko. since preferred ko yung dreamy look dahil may bata. i start by fading the whole picture(mukang white washed) then i make adjustments according to my taste.

nga pala, i would suggest pausing on your edits after every 20 images. i edited 180+ pictures non stop. tignan mo yung mga nasa post ko, may mga overexposed hehe
