Right now im taking in as much as i could in terms of building experience and expanding my knowledge.
As for my cam, im loving it. I dont see the need to go FF just yet. Heck, backwards pa nga yung GASsing ko ngayon. Gustong gusto ko mag film. I dont think i cant go all out on this knowing that theres that big gap that i left unfilled.
So i bought the stuff that i needed kanina and stopped by a repair shop to get my 50mm checked. Nung sinabing walang problema, i immediately asked the dude kung working ba yung mga vintage lenses na nakadisplay sa shop nya, di daw. But he referred me to another shop that sells the kind. And damn, ang sarap dun. Yung mga mamang kausap ko sarap kakwentuhan. They even let me play around with the lenses theyre selling. I tried a 50mm f1.4 super takumar, then a 135mm and a 35mm f3.5. Sarap mag manual. No mechanical sound and feel when you focus. And at 1.4, ang sarap ng bokeh. Solb ako. Ok lang kahit sinabi ko na di ako makakabili dahil my money was on to something else. Pero i committed to coming back for a purchase dahil binili ko yung m42 to eos mount adapter nila.
I walked around again and i saw a man standing by a glass drawer. Checked his cams and lenses. Saw a spotmatic, fz100(?) and yung lenses nya halo halong russian and japanese vintage. 1.5k na lang offer nya sakin sa helios 58mm f2 kaso pag compute ko mabibitin ako sa mga bibilin ko talaga. Got his number instead and promised him i will come back for the helios. And maybe for the super takumar 1.4, kahit alam kong magiging 3 na ang 50mm primes ko sa collection ko hahaha
