I wish I bought myself a good strat for a 1st guitar. Bought myself an RG instead. I think That strats are very verstile. Twangy goodness, Glassy sound, Oh men...   Can I ask a question, How does a FATSTRAT work? looks like a strat equipped with two humbuckers??

A strat is definitely a suitable axe as your first electric guitar due to its versatility and tonal possibilities.

Thanks bro.

That's magic done on your Strat's neck.

BTW, here's a close-up of that vintage but not so mint Strat  :-)

For me
Strat is good
of course the sound yeah!
haha!
Les Paul has a cruchy sound
Ung Strat maliwanag ang tunog lalo na pag S-S-H config
mas gwapo ang tunog.
haha!
Lalo na pag equipped na DiMarzio Pickups
WOW!
Sound from Heaven
haha!
God bless!

Similar situation here, I got a 70's fernandes strat here. Compared it side by side with a MIM fender strat(No offense to MIM users, they're great IMO) totally wiped it out even the people who was there wouldn't believe it. These fernandes guitars are somewhat underrated. Love it to death, I don't know if I'd still sell it.

Here's my 70's strat

You got a nice strat there,,,actualy dito lang sa pinas underated ang fernandes,,,outside the country especially in UK and tate,,eh sought after collectibles yang mga yan,,,lalu na mga vintage revivals nila,,like what we have,,,john mayall uses a lot of fernandes strats nung 70s-80s,, even fender tried to file a lawsuit on fernandes kasi nga natabunan sila way back 1970s,,,kaya ang agreement either change the headstock or sell the fender headstock domestically sa japan market lang :-) oh well takot lang siguru fender na masapawan ng great guitars like this,,,dami panga eh,,bacchus, jodee, tokai, moon, greco,,,daming great strat na gawa sa japan,,, i just love jap made strats,,,:-)

Nice Ash Tray cover there.

It adds up to the guitar's Vintage Vibe.
