i agree. and although i hate to say it, in this case, its better than the real thing.  :|

I agree also. I would probably trade all of my strats for one revival strat if it was mint, LOL.

Nah, just kidding. It has taken me a heck of a long time and money to modify and get my strats to the point that I feel connected with them.

Be well,

Doc

they apply resistance to the tremolo block (and the strings as well) so that the bridge returns to the normal (parallel to the body position) after you do the tremolo "dive" or "dip". you know, when you wank the bar.  :-D

teles have the fixed or string-thru-body bridges. they usually don't have tremolo units.

hope this answered your question bro.  :-)

I've never heard of a strat having that kind of bridge. Isn't that the bridge found on Fender Mustangs?  :|

I don't know bro. I worked for Fender for a long time, and I sure can't tell whether they are texas specials or not by looking at them. Texas specials, at least the ones that I have are not marked in anyway, so basically from the eyeball view, they look just like any other alnico strat pickup. Now, if I looked at the guts of the pickup, I'd be able to tell.
