try mo kung makakasundo mo yung tunog. personally hindi ko mashadong type yung tunog ng 70's spec strats. feeling ko mas hanap ko tunog ng alder kaysa ash as body wood for strats. pero itsura-wise, trip ko ang large headstock ng 70's strats.

pero kung yan vs. the affinity, jan na ako sa greco, hehe.

Ill go for a 62RI or 52RI spec strat na MIJ kahit 2nd hand basta maayos at alaga
pa ng kilalang luither panalo ka na. The classifieds I think has a handfull
of these, yung kay sir tedi check mo CIJ yun. Kapag nakuha mo yun maiinggit
ako sayo sobra!!! hahahaha goodluck finding you match

Mukhang reregaluhan ako ni misis eh pero natatawa ako hindi niya trip yung kay Tedi kasi ayaw niya yung kulay.

i don't like traditional strat bodies with drop top/laminated tops. mas trip ko pa rin yung traditional designs like transparent paint for ash bodied strats and solid paint for alder bodies.

that's just me tho.

yup veneer. yung select yung drop top flamed maple top.

personal taste. but they are very visually appealing!

Sakin naman.. Gustong gusto ko fm top haha! Pero mukhang mas okay nga pag ash nalang pag strat..

Had Micsis craft a maple neck for my partscaster, 12-16" compound radius ala EVH, with a flat C type neck, jumbo frets and no dye/natural white maple lang. Dropped by today to check out the progress, and the neck feels sooo good  looks sexy as hell too. Lalo pang mag ppop out yung grain nya after finishing.  As usual, wala talaga akong masabi sa quality ng craftsmanship ni sir Mike.

no, his shop is in Greenheights Ave, Sucat, Paranaque. Definitely worth the trip. His prices are reasonable and his works are always awesome.

i think the beauty about having a custom neck is that you can really adjust it to taste. sa mga ready made, wala ka na magagawa kasi yan na yung sukat nila.

exactly. I wanted a 12-16" radius which fender does not offer. pero if i was looking for a classic strat neck, id definitely get the one sa link na yun. mura e

MIJ. 
Actually, maganda ung mga recent MIM Standards, IMO. Palitan lang pickups. Tunog humbucker eh. 
I have a 2012 MIM Tele. All I did was replace the stock pickups with vintage spec ones. Ayun, panalo na. 
Another thing, the new ones don't have that ugly serial number in front of the headstock.  Nasa likod na.
