Yup, replaced the Edge Pro with Gotoh.
Nag oxidate na kasi yung Edge Pro :(

Ui sakto ang Gotoh!

I also have the EDGE PRO trem sa 1527, grabe nung nakuha ko sya parang wala ng pagasa ung trem dahil sa oxidation at kalawang. Pero naremedyohan naman, babad sa mechanical oil hehe. Useable na ulit sya ngayon. Pinalitan ko lang ung trem arm ng pang Schaller/OFR. ayos na ulit!

Good deal! Do you even use Ibanez when playing out? Don't think I ever seen a picture of you playing one in a while...

not since 2012, the last ibby i played live was the ART2EX1, i kinda got tired of that shape,

anyway i got the guitar today from ohio, the finish was dull, so its been sitting and accumulating sweat but no dents or cracks, just the indo-ibanez out of the box-frets sticking out setup

there was no shim and im going to add one, just to get the angle to my liking i did that to my sub ax3 and sub silo3, going to glue the frets tomorrow

Hi IBANEtiZens,

Please help me identity this mid-80s Ibanez.  It is a solid and 'excellently' built e-guitar. The body is the same shape as the road models. No pointy bodies yet, but it is already installed with Floyd Rose. Headstock states Pro Line series but I have not seen a double humbucker pro line safe for their V-series. Real heavy guitar I suspect sen-ash or alder but definitely not basewood. Great one piece maple neck. Serial # I860113 de in Japan. Ibanez dater has 2 readings: 1986 and 1988. Which is which? Lastly, it has arrow shaped strapholder.  thanks in advance for your reply. Here is the photo-link to my (Cream-colored solid body)-- korguit (latest photo contributor):

I really like the testosterone power of humbuckers in a strat like body.  Eddie van Halen was not comfortable with the LesPaul body but he wanted that PAF tone so he dug it into a strat shaped jackson-- the birst of EVH frankenstein.  IBANEZ adapted this EVH innovation and some to create a line of RGs, JEMs, Prestiges.

Agreed. Humbuckers give muscles to a skinny stratocaster. haha! strats/superstrats with humbuckers are the only way to go IMO.

its cap, its not paper thin like the rg321fm, the cap is thicker than my jcustom cap, but would still not compare to the american master maple top :)
