I have a GIO Ibanez (GRX90) kasi yun lang ang kaya iafford (hahaha/huhuhu). Pwede na naman, "pamparaos" lang, pero syempre hindi talaga ganun kaganda. Ano ang maganda gawin? Any mod recommendations? o mag-ipon nalang for a decent RG?

Ipon ka muna for a used but decent RG, preferably with upgraded pickups. Then either keep the gio as a backup/practice guitar or sell it.

ipon ka nalang for a decent RG. di worth it ang GIO. imo.

Save up for a Premium. Good value for your money, lalo na yung may Dimarzio/IBZ pickups.

its not a bad guitar but if you have no experience in working with guitars it'll be a raw guitar out of the box

compared to the squier bullet at least this is a good mod-able platform

Pag brand New...TALO ka talaga sa Gio...but if you can snag one ''used''  for 30 to 50 percent cheaper, I think sulit ka na dun...Indonesian Gios are a tad better IMO compared to the China ones, kita mo yung difference sa craftsmanship

I believe the solution here is not to upgrade immediately, kung maganda naman ang playability ng Gio I see no reason to replace it....Go the AMP SIM route na lang (Computers)   :wink: You'll be surprised on how much better your guitar will sound   :)  kase hindi gaanong pihikan ang mga amp sims...a stock  pick-up will sound terrific on it  ..........but If he has spare cash I think yung most sensible na upgrade ay yung pick-ups...
