hmmm i never thought of that! maybe my subliminal mind told me to leave it on the stand for a long time. i never do leave my guitar on the stand after use....

i brought it already to the luthier. he told me the cavity is to wide to look like a prestige. he will try to call or text me if he can do something about it. ill keep you posted. i'm planning to have guitarheads pups for my other project. he he he he. got an original edge already so i think i'll just have to list down other parts i need. red one first. then after a month or so maybe the other RG's dismantled on my cabinet.

why not seal it and re route it, you're having the body repainted anyway..

me too. mas napapamahal pa ako sa kanila dahil alam kong pinaghirapan ko sila pag ipunan.

the "paghihirap" factor makes the guitars we own much more special.

If i'll buy another Ibanez, it's going to be another RG.....RG1451 or the japan only model RG1521 if I get lucky.....

did you show him a photo? it should be really doable, remember that MII ibby that got a spalted top in ebay? that was sweet looking

interesting note..tried new shipments of MII ibanezs' with edge 3, the locking nut is not reverse mounted anymore!!! its top mounted which means easier to replace parts 'just in case', i havent tried the trem because they didnt hand me a trem bar..so i cant comment if the EDGE3 is/was improved

however the guitar seemed rough feeling which is understandable since its out of the box and not setup right..a few elbow grease should do it just fine..still not excited with the INF's
