how about edge zero?ito yung nasa prestige models din ngayon..it kas knife edge din but it has a zero point system..

any reviews?

i tested it its good, but its not for me..

with this spring tension setup, i dont think i will get used to it, its too balanced on spring tension, i just firmly believed that there should be more tension on the lower gauge side,

Dudes, I will buy a new ibby next week but I havn't made up my mind yet which model to get.

Here are my choices:

RGA420Z PRT

RG3550MZGK

RG3570ZLB

S5470F RVK

Lahat ng RG naka edge zero, ung S lang a ng ZR.

What do you think?

try em out region, i still want 2 pivots and 3 tension springs..

i seem to like the feel of the RGA420Z PRT but i don't like the edge zero and it's H H.

are all the RG prestige series using the edge zero?

same here not the biggest fan with the edge zero, i know they're doing that to not pay FR licensing..but i prefer the edge, loproedge, or edge pro,

not every prestige is edge zero, 1420 is still edge pro

GuitarCenter is the slowest to stock these, last time i checkd alphamusic already has them 1420F models, for the 770 reissue i tried em, but im more into their rosewood fretboards when it comes to prestige / j.custom ibanez's

but its good that they do a direct mount pickup routing that can accept SD's or EMGS' other than dimarzios'

got this. its all good.

im not a trem abuser, but i abused this yesterday. and still stayed in tune. and if im not satisfied na sa trem nito, itll fit original floyd rose trems.

new pups nalang, its all good na.

with the shredhead, ang nakikita ko lang na magandang tone eh yung position 5. ano ba tong infinity pups na to, talo pa ng stock pups ng prs se. pero clean tone, ok narin. tube amp naman e.

i asked bryan arzaga about this, trusted him, and yes im completely satisfied.

^congrats! \m/

Palitan na agad ng dimarzio's yan hehe. Based on experience, nasasayang ang tunog ng axe dyan sa infinity pickups..

oo nga eh. dun sa prs se kong naka paf joe at steves special, mismong mismo ang shredhead. sa infinity pups, ewan ko ba. lousy, very lousy pickup. now im thinking, i may try evos here. or breed set.

OT:

about the trem, would this fit?

the trem you're looking at is a single locking trem, get a double locking one..

congrats!

oops sorry i cant see the pics kasi. blocked. haha.

yeah i took your word and im so happy. neck wasn't too thin, which was so good, and its neck through. first for replacement, PICKUPS.

the bridge works for me at the moment.

doesn't go out of tune, which is the only thing that matters for me today.

if i have extra money afterwards, i'd upgrade the trem. afaik any licensed floyd trems out there can fit these.

Congrats. You might want to check out the PAF Joe and Super D that grasyaps is selling. Super D into Marshall voiced amp/pedal = classic.  :-)

PG's humbucker from hell equipped PGM is basswood

I don't like muddy & dark pickups sa neck kaya HfH is what I prefer. Panalo sa alternate-picking, sweep & legato

Good luck on your pickup upgrade. Gas never ends!

i have a paf joe so maybe imma try other pups to buy. so i can mix and match them.

currently my dimarzios are paf joe and steves special.. now imma buy two other dimarzios, and mix match them between ibanez and the prs..
