Hi to all!!!

Here's a guitar that i gave to my brother (Master Windu here); this is now his main guitar......

A Fender Mustang......  This one i got from Doc Arie quite a few years ago.....

When i got this guitar, the term "relic" was not yet in vogue.....  But i feel that this guitar is a very good example.........

The original pickups were quite weak and anemic sounding; my bro decided to install Seymour Duncan alnico II pro pickups......  Now this guitar just purrs and roars........

The trem was way more rusty when i first got this guitar.....  I used about a can of WD 40 and a steelbrush to get most of the rust off (not to mention about two hours worth of scrubbing)......  I have to say that this trem is quite smooth in operation; sometimes i prefer it to the stratocaster's trem.....

This guitar was well loved even before i got it.....  Here's a pic of the neck.... you can see the wear on the upper part...... whoever formerly owned this beauty obviously loved to wail up there.....

I still get a strong SRV No. 1 vibe when playing this guitar.....

Thanks for looking!!!!

Thanks. I'm still adjusting to it. Mas mataba yung neck compared to my strat and mas mahirap ng konti to bend the strings coz of the scale difference... but the tone! OMFG! swak siya through all my pedals and tube amp. OD heaven!

yep si micsis! Satin finish yan na clearcoat lang. tapos black ang sides. kumikintab na nga yung sa armrest dahil sa pawis hehehe.
