I call it the
Boss GE-7 Hush mod![](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3198/3066950148_335cdd10b1.jpg)
Gaya nga ng dati, upgrade caps and resistor. Pero ang major modification ng pedal na ito ay yung replacement ng apat na ICs (at syempre yung blue LED
![grin :-D](http://talk.philmusic.com/Smileys/default/big_smile.png)
).
JRC022D -> TL072 - tatlo yung JRC022Ds sa bagong GE7, dati, based sa lumang specs, TL022 ang gamit ng boss. Siguro nagtitipid na naman.
IC4: JRC2068 -> Burr Brown OPA2134. Based sa lumang specs, low noise single amp ang gamit ng Boss GE7. Ngayon pinalitan nila ng Dual op amp JRC2068 which has a characteristic of 0.001% noise. Kaya palit ng Burr Brown na 0.000018% ang THD + noise properties. For this replacement, kelangan uli gumawa ng 2x4 to 1x8 socket adapter (see Boss CS3 mod on in this thread).

As you can see, hindi ko pa napapalitan lahat ng caps and resistors (naubusan na ako ng caps napamalit
![grin :-D](http://talk.philmusic.com/Smileys/default/big_smile.png)
) pero bumaba na ang noise level nito. Pansin ko nung stock pa siya, once na naka-up lahat ng sliders sa EQ may noise na akong naririnig. Ngayon natanggal na yung noise sa sliders.
I always wanted an EQ pedal and planned to order a modded one from analogman. Kaso ayokong maghintay, tulad dati nung umorder ako kay Keeley ng Boss DS Ultra and BD-2 Phat mod. I tried the behringer EQ pero never used it live kasi maingay pag may kasama nang dirt pedal. With the GE7 you can get dial in a "cocked wah" sound without a wah pedal and make the lo-fi guitar sound with a few adjustment of the sliders.
