now lets break this down based from your answers.
I'm not dissing anyone -
read back and you just dissed the posers. Which you defined as -- >
"I'm sure most of us encountered someone wearing Vans shoes and a Pantera shirt and they're not in a way involved with that kind of music." Diss - To show disrespect to, often by insult or criticism (Dictionary.com)
Anyone - Usage Note: The one-word form anyone is used to mean "any person." The two-word form any one is used to mean "whatever one (person or thing) of a group. (Dictionary.com)
basically you dissed posers, so it invalidates your sentence indicating not dissing anyone.
------------
They are annoying pretentious people, posers. People have every right to wear what the eff they wanna wear but it does sometimes make them look stupid. Define
stupid wearing. In the 50's, wearing shorts was stupid. In the 80's the mullet was cool, nowadays its stupid to wear. Stupid is as subjective as it can go and it morphs with every music generation that passess.
-----
In the case of your Dad wearing that Pantera shirt, kaparehong kaso niyan ng nakasabay ko sa palengke na nanay na naka Cradle of Filth na shirt. But then again, baka nakikinig nga si ate ng Cradle of Filth kahit sa age niya na yun. I don't identify posers as I see them, kinakausap ko then I will know. You just ate what you said.
Case in point your statement :
There is such things as posers in anything, people will try to fit in and will not be themselves. I'm sure most of us encountered someone wearing Vans shoes and a Pantera shirt and they're not in a way involved with that kind of music.highly debatable, but thats in a way a defensive mechanism to say that "I will ask someone before I make a judgement"
thats fine with the daily routine of life.... what about in a gig with 20,000 people?
do you need to ask each and everyone at the gate?
so why all the alta-presyon with the posers, when in context, you define everyone like example... my dad as a poser based on his AGE and shirt prefence? so you just said, without asking and in correct linear context of the paragraph, that you ajudged my dad to be a poser because his shirt does not match his age by idea alone?
-------------------------------------------
dude my point is simple.
the music scene of the Philippines is crapping on itself because we have elitists everywhere.... the high and mighty who think their music should be only availble to the chosen few ears. The "posers" deserve a right of the musical pie so-to-speak.
classic saying yan lahat: do unto others as you would like them to do unto you.
then proceed from there.
and this is FTW.
