I'm surprised this hasn't been discussed before here.  Looks really neat!  Anyone tried yet?

Truvox 1225.  Check it out on AES (tubesandmore.com) too.  But from the pics, it looks like it.

About the price, admittedly it's beyond the reach of most guys, but let's wait and see what the amp has to offer, in terms of circuit/component grade/materials.  Is it a clone *crosses fingers* of an existing circuit?  Ano kaya tube complement nito?  Looks like current production.

IMO, best be looking elsewhere if price is a major consideration.  Let's see what others know about this thing, maybe the price is justified.  Compare natin to other 15watt amps that 29k could buy.  Sana competitive din ito, para kahit di ko ma-afford, at least maipagmamalaki!   :lol:

Bump for reviews.  I just noticed a price reduction!!!  18k for the 30watt Kustombre and 12k for the classA 5w Sunstream?!!  :-o :-o :-o

yep.. mababa na presyo niya nung mga yun.. medyo matagal na..  :lol:

btw.. that sunstream 112 looks really nice! ngayon ko lang nakita yan.. ang lagi kong nakikita ay yung 1x12 kustombre at 1x10 sunstream na tone lang ang control.. ang cool niyang 18-watt sunstream na may EQ ha..  :-)

Sorry ha.  I'm not usually glued to the classifieds these days (a conscious attempt at least)!  :lol:  I mean, I know the amps are there, but it never occured to me that the price got drastically reduced.  Yep, the Sunstream is more attractive for me, as I have yet to own a small low-wattage tube amp.

Anyway, hoping this thread becomes a place for reviews of siochi amps.  Demos naman dyan Siochi owners!

i'm interested din with the sunstream.. low wattage tubey.. sa presyo niya ngayon, halos katapat na niya ang Vox AC4TV for a relatively good low wattage tubey..

his amps always get me with the cosmetics.. they look classy and neat and presentable and really bowteek..  :-)

I got the Sunstream Classic, which is the exact same amp pictured in his ads cuz its #1.  




Incredibly, George tells me I'm his first customer sa amps.  Interested in his other stuff also.

Will make clips when I have free time.

If you mean the classic blackface clean tone, nope it doesn't do that because it wasn't designed to do that. It's a different topology. It probably sounds closer to a tweed Deluxe. Whatever you want to call its sound, what's important is if it sounds good to your ears and this one satisfies. :-)
