Yung ibang taga Jr. Kilat kasama namin, si Katrina, yung isang bokalista ng Reggae Mistress kasama namin, but that was during the late 90's nong lahat kami halos parehas Fine Arts ang kurso at tatlo or apat palang ang reggae bands dito sa Cebu, pero ngayon most of us now are working at ang iba ay may kanilang ibat ibang banda na. Some are still playing Reggae, some Indie, Emo, Rap Metal, ako kahit ano but I'm mostly into blues and classic rock but we still hang out with each other from time to time pero bihira na.  8)

back to the topic:

First ever electric guitar:
A black Strat copy with black pickguard from JB Music store in Harisson Plaza.

Current guitar:
A Yamaha Pacifica 112 with black body and white pickguard.  I tried replacing the bridge with a Dimarzio Super Distortion but recently returned it to its original configuration.   Been strongly considering buying a PRS SE Custom :)

Les Paul copy, branded Rocky from Korea. Nagustuhan ko siya because of its arch top.

ano unang electric guitar nyo nung nagsisimula pa lang kayo mag-guitar? syempre as we progress, we upgrade our equipment din till we find our own tone (na nagbabago rin lagi, kaya may GAS hehe). ano rin main axe nyo ngayon?

lemme start:

current main axe: Fender 50th Anniv American Strat. i'm a Fender convert!

My first guitar : a local red Fender Stratocaster na I bought in Cindys' Raon

My current guitar : a silver 25th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster with graphtec saddles, nut and sting trees.

+1! :D

I loved the neck of my genesis back then that I took pride of not buying a new guitar for 8 years.

I will resurrect this guitar hopefully this year, from frets, pickups, bridge/nut, tuners, etc. except for the wood lang talaga...for sentimental reasons lang. 8)

My first guitar:
A Cebuano made guitar (as claimed by the maglalako) it even has the tingga for a bridge

The  a series of Lumanog acoustics, Pampanga's best...about four of them I guess, two Ovation copies, a single cut away A/E and a nylon strung guitar.

First electric:

A Fender copy strat black (stolen when I was in second year)
A Kramer copy V type guitar(of course its made in Pampanga)
I then had a Denio Distortion

First electric I bought using my own money:
A Genesis Series SE11 Strat black which I got for P200.00 only
Effects:
A Pandora PX 1 effects box na iniwan sa kn ng kaklase ko at hindi na binalikan which I modded to a floor stomp box by using bell buzzers as +/- switch

Dual Overdrive na Boss  and a KOrg Volume pedal

First Amp ko nuon:

Hot Cabs na binigay sa kin ng kaibigan ko kasi sawa na daw mag gitara.

My present rig:
Guitars:
Squier Strat Green
Fender Mexico Ashwood Strat with alnico pups
Fender Japan Strat with Alnico pups sunburst
Jasmine A/E Black
Genesis Series Strat Black

Amp:
Park Amps ( A division of Marshall Music)
Hot Cabs
Marshall MIcro Amp

Effects:
Pandora PX 1
Boss Dual Overdrive
Boss Analog Delay
Zoom 606
Korg AX30G Guitar Multi Effects Pedal
Korg Stereo Volume Pedal
Jim Dunlop Octave Wah (please help me find someone who could fix this)

Planning to buy:
Behringer GDI
Behringer A/B switch
Roland GR 20 Guitar synthesizer

Then: Dearmond M-72, bought it from Francis Reyes who was kind enough to sell it to me when we couldn't catch the supply of the new ibanez as73 artcore guitars at audiophile on time. he bought it in NY when Guild guitars was bought out by fender. the M72 is a great guitar. looks almost like a firebird but its a unique guitar all to its own. its really heavy and built like a rock. plus the pickups are awesome!

Now: sold it back to francis when he was starting to miss it so it was just like i borrowed it. anyway i took real good care of it plus i fixed one of the sperzel locking tuners that a guitar tech broke.
i have a craving for jap guitars now but i miss this dearmond :)

actual pic: its the one i'm holding. very blurry tho

here are some clearer pics from proud m72 proud owners on the web:
