I read it in a guitar magazine too, probably around '95-'97. Nakakatwa pa yung cartoon image ni Yngwie dun sa article, naka blindfold (na mejo nakasilip) tapos may hawak na baril haha

Ang yabang talaga ni Yngiwe, eh yung mga kanta niya ngang may lyrics yung solo niya ang baduy at hindi bagay. Pero I have to admit na ang lupit nung Caprici di diablo niya. Pure shredding.

I have this guitar world issue - the Yngwie blindfold test. Nasa classroom ko na siya ngayon for all my students to see (all my guitar mags are there - wala ng space sa kuwarto ko hehehehe....). During that time - 1994, I really was annoyed by that article.

2 issues later, on the letters column, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam was honored that Yngwie didn't like him. Sabi niya, "Mr. Malmsteen, don't you ever like me. Coz if you do, it's time to be an accountant."

Awesome... salamat bossing... Personally, i'd rather listen to a well-written song with 3 chords, than a 20-minute scales run.

Agree. I'd rather listen to Greenday's power chord driven songs, rather than YJM's wank records.

This really doesn't say anything much about Yngwie except that he's a consummate moron..anyone who would agree that the bends on "cause we've ended as lovers" are out of tune is a complete douchebag as well..the funny thing is, a lot of guitar players would (probably) say the same thing about Yngwie's guitar playing..hehe
