THIS EVENT IS NOW FOR MARIKINA AND STA. MESA FLOOD VICTIMS
Hi everyone,
I hope everyone is safe. Sorry if I had not updated the thread as my main internet connection is down. I would like to thank everyone who took into consideration that the event was temporarily postponed due to the calamity we recently had last Saturday morning. Terrible, terrible events have occurred in the past few days that are still unbelievable until now. I recently came from Marikina (around 10PM last night) and saw the destruction that the storm has caused. And I am deeply concerned for those who were affected by it.
Phoenix Rising sent me a message yesterday and came up with the idea that the National G.A.S. Day will be for a good cause to help the victims of the Ondoy onslaught. I would like to ask anyone who can and will attend the event to bring what they can to donate to the flood victims in Marikina. Why Marikina? They were the most affected area during the storm and something I am familiar with as well. We can only do so much. All donations will go to the Marikina Government which I will personally deliver this coming Sunday October 4, 2009 after the event. It will be documented and credits will go to everyone who donated and attended the event.
Donations will be the following:
Old clean clothes - socks, shirts, pants, shorts.
Blankets, pillows.
Food - canned goods is perfect. Nothing perishable please.
NO MONETARY DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. - THE ENTRANCE PRICE INCREASE/DIFFERENCE OF 50 PESOS GOES TO STA. MESA VICTIMS.
Registration will be this Saturday at TEN 02 Bar in Timog Ave. Starts at 3PM. Everything will be documented and presented to the Marikina Government on behalf of the forumites of Philmusic.com. I can get in trouble for this with the owner of Philmusic but most importantly I would like to give a helping hand to those who need it. I hope you would join me.
Since this is my event. I will have some stuff for sale and all proceeds of my own gear for sale will go directly to buying more food for the victims of the recent storm.
National G.A.S Day will be this coming SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2009. Same time. Same place. Same bands (unless I am informed that they cannot attend, which is completely understandable). I spoke to the owners of TEN 02 and they were really kind to still allow us to pursue the event this Saturday. Let's all have a lot of fun this weekend people. More information below for the event.

Entrance fee is 100 pesos only. Available at the venue during the event itself. This is inclusive of 2 San Mig Light already.
Sorry guys. I was forced to do this to cover the bar guarantee. Please take note that I am the only organizerof the event and I DO NOT get anything out of it but the simple fulfillment of being with gearheads and musicians. I hope all of you will understand.
As for the bands, a simple accommodation of food and drinks will be provided.
TEN02 is located at Timog Ave. From EDSA, it's across Shell Station and beside Sharkeys.
Northbound, take a left from EDSA going into Timog Ave.
Southbound, take a right from EDSA going into Timog Ave. Some info to consider:
No fighting. I will have to ask you to leave the premises if this happens.
Deadly or harmful equipment.weapons not allowed.
Food and drinks are to be consumed at the venue (food is 80-350). Alcoholic drinks are 50 ^. 
Parking is free around the vicinity.
For demo spaces. It's only 1300 pesos (This goes directly to fund the food and drinks of the artists performing).
This will include your entrance the the event with stamps and stubs for drinks. Flyers and posters are allowed but moderated.
Event will be advertised through URADIO 107.9 for two weeks plugged at 8 times a day.
This will include the event name, time, date, venue, performing artists, and of course the companies who will have their display on the event it self.
The event like National G.A.S Day 2008 will be posted at my new upcoming dot com website with full documentation. MORE INFO TO FOLLOW. I WILL KEEP UPDATING THIS THREAD.
