Hindi ko kayo maintindihan. :D

ex. The dallas Arbiter fuzz face has been used since the '60s and still never loses popularity despite the *improvements* in dirt pedal design and high gain amps.

i dunno what you mean but there is no such thing as an ABSOLUTELY CRAPPY pedal.  There is only such a thing as an absolutely bad choice of gear for the sound you want to get.

hey guys i need your opinion regarding this topic.

may nagsasabi kasi na ang stompbox daw ay di na gamit sa real world.i just want to ask your opinion about this. naniniwala kasi ako na ang quality ng stomps ay iba pa rin.thats why i keep on searching details and reviews. then lastly i want to know which of this has a better TONE QUALITY.everyone's opinion is welcome.

first , A BOSS SD2 DUAL OVERDRIVE + A BOSS DIGITAL REVERB/DELAY RV3

OR

BOSS SD1 + DUNCAN DIST. + ZOOM G2 + KORG AX10G

alin po mas maganda TONE QUALITY. everyone's opinion is welcome

thank you and Godbless us

o baka di pa nya nakikilala yung salitang TONE

ako kasi nung nakilala ko yun nagbago talaga panlasa ko hehe

God Bless sa lahat

sorry I disagree,

nagkaroon na ako ng setup ng 3od's, chorus, delay, tuner   (with some variations sa dirt pedal)
and current set is 1multi, tuner, od, dist, delay, chorus

and mas gusto ko yung sound ko with that multi and my churchmates also agree with me.
well i had a multi+analog setup for a while and i got some decent satisfying tones. but it wasn't truly sufficient for me :-)

When they say more natural sounding do they refer to Analog or Digital? Most multi-effects are modellers. Analog circuitry pa rin ako.

If that person insults you, tell him this:

"You are stating a fallacy: Fallacy of Novelty that states that as long as it's newer, it's better."

FALLACY MONGER!

You guys gotta remember that you must compare the analog and digital at the same caliber. You can't compare a TC electronic G-major to a Boston Analog setup.

some one is insulting my set up.

saying that it is dry hehe how can i deal with him?

this is my set up

ibanez wd7 - boss mt2 - boss sd2 - boss rv3

karapat dapat ba talagang tawaging dry pag walang modulation?

mas maganda ba tone pag 2 multi (zoom g2 and a korg) ang nakalagay sa rig consecutively hehe

he is the same person who says that stompboxes are use lang sa panahon ni kopong kopong hehe

just asking your opinion

di naman ako kumikibo dahil alam ko naman which is having the better tone

comments are very much welcome

WAG nalang pansinin wala syang alama hahahaha

A 'dry' signal is commonly used to describe a signal before modulation. correct me if i'm wrong. Maybe that's what he meant

dry signal = no modulation

These pranks are very insensitive and mean-spirited.

same goes for the multifx user..

stomp boxes....its still is very much IN afaik...di yun nalalaos bro...ever!!!

dry signal...??? baka gusto nya may chorus/phaser/flanger/delay/reverb ang signal all at the same time...for sure wet na wet na yun...hehehehe.... :-D

wag mo pansinin...inggit lang yun kasi may SD2 ka...rare and very dependable pedal IMO,di pa ko pinahiya sa gig ng SD2 for its 13yrs+ as my main dirt pedal...i'd get one again if i'd have the chance/budget for it... 8-)

"preferences" lang yan...multi effect trip ng iba...stomps naman sa iba... :-)

@ alkeetar- di nya pa nga nadidinig ang tone ko

he is just judging it by looking at the pedals
