shredding hindi lahat binabagayan.

sa prog metal, thrash metal and such, medyo requirement ang shredding kasi nga technically demanding ang genres na yan.

sa blues-rock, hard rock, alternative chorva chorva, kahit simpleng soloing lang ok na.

depende sa hinihingi ng genre at kanta. depende sa tugtugan ng player kung kailangan niya talaga matutunan ang shredding or hinde

anyone can shred. its only that some have to start out much slower than others.
try playing shred licks as slow as you possible can perfectly, and just keep going faster. youll be amazed as to how you progress and hit notes dead on. the key here is to do them as perfectly and as clean as you can. when it comes to sweep picking, it may be difficult to go too slow since its going to be like picking 1 string at a time instead of a "flowing" sweep. they key here is that you make sure your picking hand does 1 fluid motion no matter how slow. (dont do 6 individual downstrokes. instead, try to make it 1 motion.) and concentrate. dont just think about going fast.

playing guitar is not about shredding, depende sa type ng tutugtugin mo yung gagawin mong tunog, pero eto tip: wag mong madaliin ang lahat magsimula ka lang sa mabagal, use metronome para malaman mo yung speed na gusto mo, magconcentrate ka sa accent ng picking at finger mo, for short its all about the ACCENT
