UST Guitarists Thread :D

UST Jazz Band at the CCP this sunday as one of the performers for UST Conservatory's annual concert "Sampung Daliri". Watch if you can. Several conservatory groups such as the UST Symphony, Guitar Ensemble, and of course the 10 pianists.

Yes, umepal nanaman ako sa music. lol!

every other day nalang haha. nung nasa cfad pa ko i really find time to practice and schedule a jam with my band naalala ko pa date dumadayo pa kame sa music section ng library i miss that blue book there

so far eto na lang nagagawa ko walang application..hahaha! blue book? di ako familiar dun ahh..yung nababasa ko yung mga bagong books isa na dun yung guitar method/scale finder/arpeggio finder ni hal leonard at several books on music theory from berklee..

Ginawa ko din yan. Daming magandang books. Actually, dati sobrang loner ko wala akong ka jam puro books and backing track sinasabayan ko.  HAHA!!

Ex:

Book na gamit ko dito hiniram ko lang sa library. Hanapin niyo if interested. Pangalan "Essential Styles for the Drummer and Bassist" Reklamo nga ako konti lang electric BASS books, pero in fairness.... gaganda ng drum and guitar books nila.

Personally, will be playing electric bass for the UST Jazz Band for a special number arranged by mang Emy Munji.
Solid ng rhythm section and players nakakahiya nga ako eh. hahaha!!! 
Afaik... Keys - sir Lyndon Aguilar, Guitar - Sir Butch Roxas, Drums - Sir Jorge San Jose.

wow!! if i only have the time kaso nagcracram pa ako for finals sana di ako bumagsak more power to you guys nalang post ka ulit pagmay ganyan ulit try ko magsama ng date

hey guys i know this is also kinda off-topic pero do you know any brass musicians (trumpet, sax, trombrone)?? doesn't have to be in the college of music or anything basta yung pwede makajam lang nothing too serious we have this song kasi na we think adding brass section to it would be cool to try we have a live record of it na pwede niyong pakigan we are open to any arangement na gusto niyo basta may reggae/ska feel to it hahaha we could also try covers mga no doubt and the like.... ska & alternative kasi tugtugan namin vise versa pwede rin other guitarist or keyboard para mas masaya, 3-piece band lang kami kaya mas madaling magpasok ng other musicians  pm me nalang if ever salamat po!!

p.s.
lahat halos kami thomasian the other one former thomasian nalang lumipat na kasi but still thomasian at heart

^^ by the way ito nga pala yung song namin pagpasensyahan niyo na ang labo nung pagkakamix hina ng guitara and nakakahiya din yung lame excuse for a guitar solo ko pasensya na it was kinda on the spot hahaha pero rinig naman yung essence ng song  rough draft lang naman

Hehe! Actually nagccram din ako.. sobra. eh hindi natiis eh. hehe!! 

 Mahirap maghanap ng brass players lalo na yung hindi taga music! hehe Kahit nga sa music itself hindi ganun kadali maghatak.

opo naman medyo naaawa lang ako sa mga performers, kasi sobrang baba ng ticket price compared sa content ng show but nonetheless my wallet was happy.hahahha
