[V.I.O.L.I.N.S]

This is not your typical RPG.

This game is made by BioWare. It did receive quite a good feedback. You create a character then go on an adventure to slay monsters. I don't want to give too much information for I know less, myself.

I just bought this game and hopefully, play a few minutes when I get home... and maybe post my experiences on this game, in the process.

Feel free to post your thoughts, views and whatnot about this game.

may nakita na ba kayong limited edition na cd nito?.. wala ako makita sa mga data blitz..  yun sana gusto kong bilhin hehe.. tagal ko na rin tong hinintay

Uber Kick ass. actually, pinapanood ko lang friend ko maglaro nito. Pero andun pa rin yung KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights elements, kaya epic pa rin talaga.

Ok. I played it this morning.

I must say, it's worth every peso you'll spend. I'm still at the part where you have to collect Darkspawn blood to become a Grey Warden but heck I have to go to work. You can play like a Real Time Strategy Game(Starcraft). Yes, I'm not kidding. You can select multiple characters via left click + drag. Then you have to right click on your target.

Pretty easy?! Nope. Even at Easy, it still pack quite a challenge. You will still have to resort to pause the game and manually designate targets. I guess I need more time to get accustomed to the mechanics.

Good thing hindi mo naipakita yung activation codes ng game at nung DLC.... hehehe. Sa SM Megamall ko binili yung aken, nag-pareserve ako. Iniwan ko trabaho ko nung nag-text saken na meron na raw dumating na stock. Buti hindi ako nahalata.

Meron lang akong isang legit complaint.... ang hirap tanggalin nung disc sa case.

Hmm... 40 hours and counting... hindi pa rin tapos. Partida, tinatamad pa kong basahin yung ibang codex. Plus the numerous reloads because of poorly executed strategies.

My tip: Hold command can be very helpful... It can save you from an ambush. Just make sure to pull effectively, that is pull one enemy at a time, not pulling the entire horde. Lengthy? Yes, but saves you from depleting yourself off your poultices.

With everything Ive heard and seen from discussions and gamespot. Dragon age looks to be the best rpg for 2009 and 2010.
sayang wala daw multiplayer kahit sa lan manlang. Gusto sana namin mag LAN COOP sa quests parang diablo dati.

I will get it as soon as i finish oblivion shivering isles.

Elfroots?? Let's see. After finishing the Elven quest(Brecillian Forest) and assuming that you let the elves live, the merchant there now offers an unlimited supply of Elfroots at 60 Bronze. Are you trying to buy your experience?? Don't worry, I've done it. Costly but worth it.

I have this cd for weeks pero di ko parin nagugustuhan. hahaha. Im a big rpg fan. Di ko pa siguro na ffeel..

kakadownload ko lang kagabi ng saken, 15 minutes pa lang ako naglalaro, ang masasabi ko pa lang sa ngayon eh napakaganda ng musical arrangement at initial storyline.  siyempre pati na din graphics.

the first 2 to 3 hours, it loads fairly quickly around 10-15 seconds (the scene with the rotating emblem and the blood splats). but after that is just downhill; sometimes it takes 5 minutes to load. i had to go down the house and get snacks first. and what's worse, the music stops after a time, so you just get a rotating emblem and blood splats, no music, and the idea that it's already stuck up.

There are programs that were built to have an automatic fail safe features.  I think what is happening in your DAO is that your computer hardware could no longer suffice its system requirements.  Instead of shutting down, it tries to minimize resources like removing the music while loading or some other "sacrifice-able" features.  Maybe you also have had installed new programs or applications recently that affects the DAO.  Worst is that your computer might be infected by a virus.  Your antivirus could also affect the performance of running applications.  There are certain offline games that I play where I usually shutdown my antivirus to get a smooth runtime.  You could try shutting down some other programs located in your system tray on the lower rightmost part of your screen before playing games or running an application that could consume most of your system resources like the DAO.

Or... the game had already issues regarding memory leakages. The only work-around here is to quit and reload. Maybe in its upcoming expansion pack will this issue be resolved.

@wiccan - i always check on what's running and what consumes my physical memory, and there shouldn't be any problem. i also doubt that i'm short on system requirements. maybe a virus? haha

@violins - yeah when i quit and reload the game, it works well again, until another 3 hours.

wow..dito pla tambayan ng mga adik sa DAO eh.... hahaha mga masters paturo naman me build ng Human rogue di ko alam sa 3 stats kung ano dpat ang unahin , str dex or cunning ba?>? hehehe tsaka san nakakabili ng maraming potion yung mga shop dito short ng  potions eh kaya lagi me deads hay...heheheh

dragon age! i'm still just starting out on this game and have picked up a human noble just for feeling the game..

about the elfroots, the location where the human noble started has lots of elfroots in them.. mostly found on the "shining shurbs" around each level..

as for the loading time, i haven't noticed the load time as i don't usually play that long.. trying to balance work and play..

and about the build, being a human noble, halos strength lang nilalagyan ko.. then dexterity to fill the requirements of the skills i am planning to pick.. but it's too early to tell kung tama build ko kasi kakasimula ko pa lang..

i only use potions kung kailangan na kailangan.. usually i just try to survive the fight since after that nagrerecover naman silang lahat e..

and i totally agree with the hold command! saved me a lot of times when i found out about it.. i'm still figuring out how the tactics work though (meron kasing marked as red and meron ding wala)
