Nice, those are earlier ones, right?

I had an old RMC WOF wah once, but it's now with another forumite. :) I must say that Geoffrey's customer service is really great. Really recommended.

Yes. The Pic is an 03 while the RMC3 is an 01. I've tried about every wah out there both old and new, including Geoff's new offerings but the Pic wah w/ the old inductor is about the thickest sounding wah I've tried. I'd like to try the RockinDaddy's RMC3/ LE and the Vertex Axis wah though, see how they compare with the Pic.

I use a Ibanez weeping demon right now. Adjustable wah settings with auto switch mode. Decent sounding, dunlop sound better but this is the most tweakable i've used. Never got a chance to use boutique wahs.

Anyone here used the Dunlop Slash Signature, Custom Audio Electronics wah or the Wahzoo? I've been reading their the best new wahs out.

There's a post re: CAE wah somewhere a few posts above you.

Cool, I've always wanted to try the pic wah. The descriptions make it seem like the kind of wah I'd want.

There's a fellow Philmusic member with a Vertex Axis. :)

I have. Just so you know, Slash's wah has been out and available in the market for 5 years now. It no longer belongs to the "new" category. Anyway, Slash's signature wah pedal, with all its hype and style, is quite okay. But am not completely sold to it. Maybe I just didn't (I still don't) like the idea of a wah pedal having a built-in distortion. There's always tonesuck everytime the dirt is engaged.

But I guess the built-in distortion is the true selling point of the product. Otherwise, it's just an ordinary wah.

Very nice. I had an opportunity to try it when Mason brought his new FX/mods at (Joe) Morgan's room last LA Amp show but I spent my time playing the amps, by the time I was done they've started to pack up already. Maybe next time.

torn ako ngayon between getting dunlop 535q and yung CAE wah. sulit kaya yung $40 difference nila? nabasa ko from other forums na meron revisions yung 535q na true bypass na. if this is true 535q na instead of CAE. sayang din $40  :-)

Minimize it by making sure the cover is grounded. Mod the transistors to protect against rf emi

The 535Q isn't as versatile as it looks on paper. Try CAE if you can find one, two inductors really make a difference. If you really want a fully tweakable wah, go for RMC3 of 12 position Wilson Rippah Booster Wah

I think 535q is better suited for modern rock/hard rock application. Its voicing is too modern(hi fi) compared to most boutique wahs.

I saw a dunlop dimebag signature wah yesterday at JB music selling for 11k. AND IT'S ON SALE.  <_<

I have the RMC Picture wah. Sounds way better than the Original Crybaby and the Dunlop Slash Wah. The sweep is super smooth.

But between the Slash wah and the original crybaby, I'd choose the Slash wah. It has more sweep than the original. I wouldn't use the built-in fuzz though.
