Oh, blues naman! My favorite guitar solos that I've covered are:
Peter Green w/ Fleetwood Mac, "Stop Messin Around"... ooohh that out of phase Les Paul tone hits the spot (I'm doing all the solos except after the last verse... that's Mel Po).

I like their version almost as much as T Bone Walker and Bobby Bland's in the 40s and 50s. Not note for note but this is what I felt like playing (my solo starts at 2:30. Other solo is by Mel Po who stays w/ Dickey's also)
http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=3961853&q=loAll these songs were recorded at the Blues Summit in Alabang in 2000. Btw, the harp player is Egay Imperio (Labuyo) and I sing on all except Statesboro Blues (Arie). I was using a borrowed a vintage Les Paul Custom (2 of them!!!), an Oauhu tube amp, and a Klon Centaur purely for boost.
