^ kung sa features, lamang na lamang ang ME-80. but you cannot simply dismiss the versatility of the ME-70: with a footswitch, it's basically 7 pedals in manual mode.
--------------
idk kung meron nang nag-try nito, but there is a "third" mode of operation sa ME70 bukod sa Manual and Memory modes. the Memory mode allows the user to program a set of effects which is then saved in a bank under either of the 4 patches. sa isang bank (Bank U1), you only have access to 4 preset tones.
U1, P1: comp>stack>reverb
U1, P2: chorus> reverb
U1, P3: classic> combo> delay
U1, P4: wah> chorus
the trick here is to create a complete chain sa isang patch (kahit olats sa pagka-mushy ang overall tone) and then hitting the EDIT button. this way, you are effectively using the preset patch in manual mode. for example:
U1, P1: (treadle)voice> comp> classic> (preamp)EQ> rotary> reverse delay> hall reverb
U1, P2: (treadle)wah> defretter> blues> (preamp)stack> harmonizer> tap delay> room reverb
U1, P3: solo> modern> (preamp/combo)> (treadle)volume> tremolo> mod.delay> room reverb
U1, P4: (treadle)octave> slowgear> boost> (preamp)tweed> uni-vibe> phrase looper> hall reverb
so bale meron kang "preset" chain of effects and pressing the Edit button lets you engage/bypass each module ng patch na yun. i hope it made sense. basically you have three modes of operation: Manual, Memory, and EDIT mode. to summarize, the Edit mode lets you preset each module as if it's one complete chain of effects, and to activate it you simply have to press the edit button, turn off all modules (complete bypass), and engage each module na tipong nasa manual mode. press Edit again to escape and switch to another bank/patch perhaps, for another set of effects chain.
