Mas muddy and lamang sa gain yung DS100 while the BOSS DS1 has more presence and mas trebly.Yung OD100 is crunchy and medyo smooth and hindi ka mabibitin sa gain.

Yung high and low knobs naman pang control lang ng bass and treble. For the price of 1.3k wala ka ng talo dito.

sir, 1.3k? san ka bumili ng gtx sa raon? mahal yun ah. yung tapat lang ng stage point 1.1k bigay sakin, and siguradong may 1k or less around the area. o nabili mo sya ng 1.3k for both ds100 & od100? sa jb nagbibigay sila ng 15% discount.

i tried using od100 as boost sa ds100, kaso very minimal yung boost na nabibigay. kaya ang ginawa kong pang boost nalang ng od100 ay yung ds100. still experimenting with them.

I'm not saying that it is not good.... it has the sound of typical analog distortion... BASS knob is a plus.... di ko alam kung bakit... after 20 minutes na andun ako... nafi feel na ng salesman na kukunin na namin... biglang naisip ko na parang for the price of P1,300+ I don't think I need another dirt pedal kasi meron na akong Big Muff and G2..   I alwasy love the analog feel but I just think that there's somethign wrong with the pedal kaya mura... or maybe it's just me... Digitech Bad Monkey is P2,800... so di rin naman ganun kalayo sa Boston/ GTX pedals... this is just my personal opinion though... Maybe I'm just "gassing"...

I think the DS100 is heavier sounding than the Heavy Metal pedal.. Overdrive... well.. forget it... It's too fizzy.. ...

hhhmmm...im not a guitarist though but ive tried the BASS EFFECTS in JB MUSIC sa SM VALENZUELA pretty descent for the price and kung cost cutting ka eh eto ang swak sa hanap mo... :D

anyway,sa BOSTON ENGINEERING naman, they also specialize in P.A. SYSTEM...
regarding the effects made in China daw,at ang idea ko lang bakit mura ito kasi gawa sa CHINA mura ang laboring dun...kaya may mga WESTERN BASED BRANDS (IBANEZ although japan originated pero sa US nakabased,FENDER,WASHBURN etc.)dun nagpapabuilt ng mga equipments kasi sa cheaper cost ng Laboring...kaya mura talaga...ika nga eh para maabot sila ng MASA!!!  :D

Just got the Heavy Metal pedal. I liked it so much I bought it on the spot :D. Ubos na kasi yung ds100 sa JB Parksquare. So happy again. Next stop...open it and change the clip stage. Heck I like it more stock than the stock  Metal Zone.

Just opened it. Verrry nice. Even neater than Boss's pedals and the undersides have component markings :D.

Over-rated na talaga ang Boss. Their days are numbered.

a friend of mine bought the digital delay. on a scale of 1-10, 10 highest, he gives it a 7 max. hmm i dunno. gusto ko subukan yung sa kanya. malay natin, it might be a 10 in my book.

regarding discounts, uh guess thats the purpose of jb's discount card hehe.
