Blow came from the band Strawberry Fields. The line-up used to be Kess, Emil Bunecamino, and the short guy w/ polio ata pero sobrang kick-ass na bassist! Strawberry Fields was a female-fronted rock band then Blow came along and Empi came into the picture as the new bassist.

I personally don't like the songs and with all due respect hindi talaga dapat kumakanta si Diet e! The band memebers are all gifted musicians in their own right but they used to rock hard when they were still Strawberry Fields  8)

para sakin ok lang kahit nasa showbiz pa. basta talagang magaling. sa case ni diether, dapat sana hindi sya yung naging frontman. kase sobrang common na yung ganung pattern, kung sino yung sikat at may looks, sya yung ginagawang singer para mas mag gain ng popularity. parang katulad sa mga noontime shows na lagi na lang microcphone ang hawak ng mga actors/actresses, hindi man lang mag guitar, bass or drums.. baka kasama na rin sa strategy ng band ni diether yun?? kaso pag singer kase, parang lumalabas na yun lang ang alam nyang gawin.. walang masyadong talent na involved. magkkaron sana ng malaking respect sa kanya yung mga tao kung nasa drums or bass position sya tapos magaling. sana sya yung nag ddrums dun, naka 2pedal yung drummer nila eh heheh..

eto yung website nila (click nyo ung music, download nyo yung track ng "BUANG" medyo ok rin reminds me of Razorback (pero naka 2pedal) hahah~!

     I have nothing against diether, but sayang ang talent ng band members kung maki-ride on lng cla sa popularity ng isang showbiz figure.

     I think with or without a showbiz personality, the band can stand on their own and make it big.




Actually mga once or twice a month lang ang booking nang Blow. Deitrher is more of an actor than a rock singer. Pero sabi nga ni Carlo pag may show naman sila umaapaw daw ang pera, kasi sa isang show lang malaki ang PF nila it beats gigging every night.

Yup galing siya La Concordia. Karlo and his college band mates used to be tambays at my studio Fretwire mga 1996 yata yun. It was also the same year sumali kami nang San Miguel battle of the bands and Karlo was my bass player we used the name Fretwire, umabot naman kami nang finals.

There are some singers whose voices are just made for this music.

Diether Ocampo just isn't one of those singers.
