ang rule ko, less components, less problems.

kung gagawa para sa mid-hi, kaysa dual, single lang gagamitin ko, basta high power like 600w and pair it with a 2" compression driver

sa mga nababasa ko, pag dual driver na assembled, kung hind scientific ang approach mo, you can have more problems dahil of cancellation ng 2 drivers kung hindi tama ang distance nila.

medyo mahirap mag diy ng line array kasi me specific na sukat (distance between drivers) plus yung mga angles pa nila, different drivers also have different response, it takes a lot of calculations, but for aesthetics madali lng gayahin yun nga lang you might not get good results from the sound, also kung flying array i believe you also have to take account of the rigging hardware, medyo delikado kasi pag flying at bumigay yung mga latch,

Bili ka na lang ng made in china na line array at i-load mo ng p.audio components.  Meron yta binibenta ang kevler na box lang.  Mahirap kasi mag "diy" ng line array boxes.

for fixed installation go for passive system for proper monitring of the amplifier, (ok din kung powered na may ethernet or pc connections so you can monitor the performance of the amplifiers) go for active if mobile ka...

may taga dai ichi kami kami nakausap sa isang pro audio store dati at sabi nga nya maglalabas sila ng line array nila,, unahin daw muna nila gawin ang OEM nila for a company sa Europe,, then babaguhin ng kunti design,, sabi pa nga nya,, baka pag china ang dai ichi baka nauna pa raw lumabas yung copy kaysa sa OEM,, sana may demo sila ng product nila

I wonder if the specs were real. Anong klaseng loading kaya meron ito? It could respond down to 75hz kahit nakahang and with only 5.2" woofers? not to mention they are paired with piezos. Could it be a Billfitzmaurice inspired cabs?

narinig ko mga VERTEC speaker copies na ito sa Greenhills, setup by SNS.....do ako naimpress. 

kung sa iisipin mo, ganun kadaming woofer and tweeter, mas ok pa mga iba na hindi Line Array na narinig ko.

naka DSP processor naman....kung isusuma ko sa isang salita, MAINGAY siya!

Sirs,  just be careful in putting your money to "knock-offs, wannabees and pretenders".  I learned a hard lesson when I thought I could save money when in the end,  I need to spend more.  Line array speakers are not as simple as you think.  Check my thread and it might help you decide better: http://talk.philmusic.com/board/index.php/topic,172066.0.html. 

Just go for the real stuff like RCF, JBL, QSC and other reputable brands when it comes to line array design technology.  They are indeed expensive but in the long run, you get your money's worth.

el kapitan is using these speakers, and yamaha digital console.

okey ang sound nya. hindi harsh unlike ung EV xline, mejo di maganda ang timpla nun isang rentals.

-1 DIY array. masasayang ang time and money mo kapag narinig mo na ang result.
