I suggest you check out murat diril cymbals. Turkish Handmade Cymbals. around your price range pag set ang kunin mo. please check them out at www.muratdiril.com or www.thedrumshopmanila.com. better yet, just go to the drum shop to test the cymbals for yourself.

go for istanbul preferrably samatya.. i'd go for that kesa sa XS20.. pero at the end of the day, sound matters talaga.. ano ba genre mo? baka kasi may mas maganda pang lineup aside sa options na in-offer/suggested sa'yo..

id go for istanbul based on sound characteristics.... nkagamit nko ng XS20..ndi ko nagustuhan "sound"

wag ka papadala sa BRAND...kasalanan un..hahah..
let ur ears decide..

step 1---> Sound! (not PRICE, not BRAND but SOUND muna)
step 2---> pagipunan! or look for 2nd hand
step 3--> enjoyin kpag nabili mo na..

pre pag pilian mo lahat ng istanbul cymbals sa Lazer store kc 3 lng lines nila...so mas madali 4u na pumili...

sultan crash ung nabili ko.. bagay na bagay cya sa K set ko..
if u have an existing cymbal set..try to bring them or at least hats/crash(wag lng ung mga pangit tlga na cymbals huh)

for me:

Sultan=near sa K custom/K series
Radiant=parang A Custom(60%) + Z custom(40%)
Samatya=A Custom(30%) + Z custom(70%)

Sabian XS20 or Paiste PST5 Universal Set IMO or go for Sultan, Radiant or Samatya (nakita ko lang mga reviews dito, but I never tried)

Or bakit hindi mo i-try bumili ng isahan. dito sa PM daming mura na, solid pa.

I was at a gig and a drummer brought out zht's. Honestly, ang ganda ng tunog. nagcucut volume nya over guitars pero still melodic. What do you guys think?
